KCRW’s DNA just did a nice segment on new public space in LA. The interview with Frederick Fisher about the new Annenburg Beach House got me thinking about making summer memories. I love that he talks about the design as incidental, and it really being a framework for ‘making new memories’. The importance of  ritual resonates more and more with me as each year passes.
